Over time many of our customers have asked for a hard wood option and we are to proud to tell you that is now an option we are able to provide.

This unit is made from high quality alder hardwood for the body and is fitted with our familiar 40mm oak worktop. True to the Olive Branch way- this is a 100% solid wood kitchen throughout with no MDF or laminates used.

The unit comes with a deep cupboard with one shelf and double shaker style doors. The unit is treated with a waterproof oil on the body and the worktop. It is a hardwood copy of the BU2 unit.

There’s no limit to the finish options for your kitchen unit.

Choose from:

  • Hand painted: in the colour of your choice
  • Waxed: for a beautiful, soft sheen finish that lets the grain shine through
  • Plain: so you can paint/finish yourself

We colour match Farrow & Ball paints, which gives you 100s of options. We can also mix bespoke shades, giving you an infinite palette of choice.

All our cabinets are made from 100% pine boards. Our worktops are available in hard wearing oak in 25mm and 40mm thicknesses. We can make worktops from composite laminate if you prefer.

Our pine comes from FSC & PEFC approved forests in Scandinavia. Our oak is sustainably sourced from FSC & PEFC approved forests in Europe and (sometimes) the USA. Whenever we can, we source as close to home as possible to keep the carbon footprint of your kitchen low.

And we make a conscious effort to use virtually every last piece of timber, so nothing goes to waste.

Our kitchens and kitchen units typically take 8 weeks from order to delivery. It’s rarely longer; it can be less.

Delivery on the UK mainland is free for distances up to 250 miles from our Yorkshire workshop. We can arrange for distances beyond that and for delivery overseas. Just ask.

We ship your finished units in as close to a complete state as possible, subject to their ability to a) fit in the delivery van and b) squeeze through your doors. That’s why we ask questions about dimensions on our How to Order page.
